Life sciences are gaining more and more significance for our society. More than a third of the inventions from North Rhine-Westphalian universities come from the areas of medicine, biology and chemistry. At the same time, the patent situation in this area is very complex.

Therefore, PROvendis set up a  Life Sciences Team for supporting inventors from life science faculties of 27 universities of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Doctors, biologists and chemists with industry experience and proven expertise in their fields and patent know-how are there to support scientists throughout the entire process: from invention consultation and patent application to contract conclusion.

At the same time, the team is the direct contact for companies seeking comprehensively patented technologies evaluated according to economic criteria.
